1989 Chevrolet Corvette 2dr Convertible Hatchback

This is a four owner 1989 Chevrolet unconverted challenge corvete car for sale. It has a Six Speed manual gear box, finished in Charcoal with a black interior. The car was purchased new in florida, where it spent most of its life - The original owner put 85,000 of the 95,000 miles on the vehicle. Depsite the mileage, the car is in great shape and runs & drives like a new car. 

The paint on this car is thin and wearing in some places, but is all 100% original - No paintwork has been done. There have been no accidents with this vehicle and therefore all body panels are original. 

The interior is in better shape than the exterior, the black cloth seats look as if they have not been used much. All of the insturments on the dash are currently working and the mileage is believed to be accurate. The dash of this car was signed in 2009 by Dave McClellen when the car was displayed at the Challenge Car Reunion at "Corvettes at Carlisle". 

Mechanically, this car is perfect. The L98 motor and transmission are original to the car and still function as new. A clear Illinois title is present. 

Only 60 of these cars R7F cars were built in 1989, 27 of them converted to Challenge Cars - This car can still be converted to a "Challenge Car" - original decals are still availble.
